Answer

Before you build a website, it is always useful to create the Design and Prototype first, so that you can evaluate it and identify any potential issues to be fixed as early as possible in the development life-cycle - this will save you huge pile of money and many hours of time that would otherwise be wasted on fixing incorrectly built features.

The following steps should be done:

  • Create the Adobe XD project for low fidelity wireframe
  • Create a wireframe Design
    • Create one Artboard and place a website map into this Artboard
    • Create one Artboard for each page of the website
  • Create a wireframe Prototype
    • Define interactions for all important elements
    • Link all screens so that they are accessible within the Prototype
  • Present the Prototype to key stakeholders and get the feedback
  • Integrate the changes proposed to both Design and Prototype
  • Present the updated Prototype to key stakeholders and get the feedback
  • Create a high fidelity mockup Design
    • We recommend to preserve the low fidelity wireframes
  • Create a mockup Prototype
  • Present the Prototype to key stakeholders and get the feedback
  • Integrate the changes proposed to both Design and Prototype
  • Present the updated Prototype to key stakeholders and get the feedback
